Keihin Throttle Slide, N502-15 Series

Keihin N502-15 throttle slides are listed for standard PWK33 and PWK35 Air Striker carburetors. They control airflow through the bore and support the jet needle.

The stamped number differs from the actual cutaway in this family. Each dropdown choice shows both values. Order 018-240 retains the historical J01 number; the full suffix for order 018-244 remains unconfirmed. These are not the historical N502-16 standard PWK35 slides.

• 6 stamp corresponds to the current family's 6.5 mm cutaway, while older application charts place the same order in a nominal 6.0 row; the throttle valve is shown at reference 13 on both configuration-specific diagrams.

Standard throttle-valve settings for the relevant carburetor configurations:

• PWK33/S46 standard: 6.0 mm actual cutaway, N502-15K02, identified by the 5.5 stamp. Select the 5.5 mark, 6.0 mm cutaway option.
• PWK35/S65 Quad Vent / Air Striker, carburetor order 016-160: catalogue-standard slide No. 4.5. Select the 4.5 mark option; this family's measured cutaway is 5.0 mm.

Catalogue-standard slide numbers and measured cutaways are not always the same. These settings do not apply to the separate standard non-Air-Striker PWK35/70R or to OEM and special-jetting configurations.

Rich to lean: the dropdown is ordered from the lowest slide number first to the highest last (4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7). Within the same compatible slide family, a smaller cutaway gives a richer mixture and a larger cutaway gives a leaner mixture as the throttle opens. No. 0 is the richest end of the range; No. 9.5 is the leanest listed end where offered. Slide ID marks, nominal catalogue numbers and actual cutaway measurements are distinguished above; numbers from different slide families are not interchangeable.
