Description
Keihin N502-17 large-body throttle slides are listed across PWK36 Quad Vent, PWK38, PWK39, historical PWK41 and PWK38 Air Striker applications. The slide controls airflow and carries the jet needle.
Choose by the full part number and historical nominal label. Current x02 revisions have different published cutaway measurements, which are not asserted for historical x01 stock. Order 018-525 retains N502-17K01; K02 revision interchangeability remains unconfirmed. Short-body PWK36S and PWK38S notched slides are separate.

Catalogue-standard throttle-valve settings for the relevant large-body carburetors:
- PWK36/S63 Quad Vent, carburetor order 016-163: No. 5.0. Select the 5 nominal option.
- Standard non-Air-Striker PWK38/71R, carburetor order 016-153: No. 6.0. Select the 6 nominal option.
- Standard non-Air-Striker PWK39/72R, carburetor order 016-155: No. 6.0. Select the 6 nominal option.
- Historical PWK41 Pro-Series, carburetor order 016-156: No. 6.0. Select the 6 nominal option.
- PWK38/S66 Quad Vent / Air Striker standard jetting set, carburetor order 016-167: No. 7.0. Select the 7 nominal option.
These are the historical standard-setting labels, not measured cutaways for every slide revision. They do not establish the standard setting for PWK39 Snowmobile, short-body PWK36S/PWK38S, OEM or special-jetting configurations. Standard PWK33 and PWK35 Air Striker use the separate N502-15 slide range; standard PWK35/70R uses the historical N502-16 range.
Rich to lean: the dropdown is ordered from the lowest slide number first to the highest last (0, 3, 5, 6, 6.5, 7, 8, 9). Within the same compatible slide family, a smaller cutaway gives a richer mixture and a larger cutaway gives a leaner mixture as the throttle opens. No. 0 is the richest end of the range; No. 9.5 is the leanest listed end where offered. Slide ID marks, nominal catalogue numbers and actual cutaway measurements are distinguished above; numbers from different slide families are not interchangeable.
