Description

Keihin N502-52 chrome throttle slides fit PWK28 carburetors. The slide controls airflow and carries the jet needle; its cutaway affects the mixture as the throttle opens.

Choose the cutaway from the dropdown. The No. 3.5 N502-52H00 option is distinct from the non-chrome N502-11H00 slide.

  • Diagram reference: 13

Standard throttle-valve setting: PWK28, carburetor order 016-144, uses No. 3.5. In this chrome slide range, select the 3.5 option, N502-52H00. The original non-chrome standard slide is the separate N502-11H00.

Rich to lean: the dropdown is ordered from the lowest slide number first to the highest last (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0). Within the same compatible slide family, a smaller cutaway gives a richer mixture and a larger cutaway gives a leaner mixture as the throttle opens. No. 0 is the richest end of the range; No. 9.5 is the leanest listed end where offered. Slide ID marks, nominal catalogue numbers and actual cutaway measurements are distinguished above; numbers from different slide families are not interchangeable.
